• Sanctuary Mass Choir (ages 14 +) – The Sanctuary Mass Choir
is a 60+ voice, power-packed, gospel choir typically singing three
or four-part harmony in SAT or SATB arrangements. The choir is made
up of dedicated volunteers from the congregation who love to sing
the praises of God and have devoted their lives to worship unto
Him.
The Sanctuary Choir rehearses each Sunday evening at 5:15 in the
Tara Center reception room, and ministers during the 9:00 a.m.,
11:00 a.m., and 6:30 p.m. Sunday services, as well as other special
events.
• Frontline Singers – The Front Line is a six-voice
ensemble that, along with the choir, helps lead the congregation
in to worship each service. This group is chosen from members of
the Sanctuary Choir by an audition, and then each is placed on a
rotation schedule each month. The Front Line Singers rehearse on
Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Tara Center reception hall
and also every Sunday with the Sanctuary Choir at 5:15 p.m..
• Project 228 (Youth Choir-ages 14-27) – Project
228 is a 50+ voice, powerfully anointed youth choir that ministers
in song and testimony. Their style crosses many genres of Christian
music, including urban gospel, contemporary acoustic, and traditional
hymns. Project 228 rehearses each Tuesday evening at 7:00 (at appointed
times of the year) in the main sanctuary preparing for recording projects,
monthly performances at Community, and for the tour.
Project 228 hosts an annual summer tour, traveling across the Southeastern
region of the United States, ministering with our pastor and youth
pastor. The tour members show great leadership and Christ-like character,
but must be approved by the tour director for admission to go on
tour.
